Why Mamula Island
Located at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor, and part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mamula Island is a carefully restored 19th century fort in Montenegro. Encircled by sea and sky, with views of crystal waters and wild scenery, the hotel has 32 rooms (both Heritage and newly built), a holistic spa, a pebble beach, 3 pools, 3 restaurants, 4 bars, indoor gym, Atelier Mamula (creative workshops), Studio Mamula (multifunction meeting area), Spa Atrium (communal space full of natural light) and the Historical and Memorial Gallery (tribute to the fort’s 170-year history).
Our 10 rooms, 14 junior suites and 8 suites are full of light and intimacy, with special attention to detail and heritage elements. Artwork is being made specifically for the property by local artists with color palettes that will draw directly from the islet’s landscape. There are four types of rooms to choose from: Balcony, Sea, Sky, and Panoramic.
Culinary vision has been created by French-Canadian chef Erica Archambault—of the Michelin starred Parisian restaurant Septime. Our journey starts with a six-course fine dining menu in Kamena to tasty dishes infused with Mediterranean flavours on the Pool Deck to raw bar, seafood, light salads, or wood-oven baked specialties on the Sun Deck. If you would like to stay for a selection of crafted cocktails, Pine Bar is the place to be.
